Ak-Chin Fire Cadet Program
2012-Current
Program to expose high school aged children to the Fire Service and teach them basic fire skills. I founded the Cadet Program and created the policies and procedures in adherence to the standards set forth by the Boy Scouts of America. We met regularly for training and attended events such as community outreach, fire competitions and live fire training.
Ak-Chin Preschool

2017- Current
Program that works in conjunction with the Ak-Chin Preschool to teach 3-5 year-old aged children fire prevention topics. We hold monthly classes and participated in various events including Week of the Young Child, Back to School celebration and their Holiday Celebration providing Santa with presents.

Create engagement opportunities that stimulate physical and mental growth with Ak-Chin youth while highlighting the elements of the Fire Service

Tribal Member Recruitment
2011-2012
Spearheaded efforts to recruit Ak-Chin members to be trained internally as EMT's and sent to the Glendale Fire Academy. 8 of 10 participants were successful in completing their training and being hired on fulltime with ACFD.

2015-Current
In charge of coordinating staffing and carrying out the plan for the decoration of department apparatus for use with in the Ak-Chin Masik Tas Light Parade.
